What is SJHA?
Our mission is to provide support to families choosing to home educate their child. We strive to make resources and enrichment accessible to all. Families of all configurations and belief systems are welcome.
What we offer:
Co-ops + Classes
At SJHA we provide a variety of educational enrichment activities, from co-op learning to student-lead exploration. Learn more about our co-op here. We also offer some separate internally taught classes by our members.
Teams + Clubs
SJHA’s teams and clubs provide students the opportunity to work collaboratively in casual or competitive environments. We have several interest based clubs that run throughout the year as well as athletics.
Collaborative Enrichment
For an additional low cost registration, SJHA members are able to access exclusive discounts on external classes and programs for their students. Such as karate or yoga. More details here.
Social Activities
South Jersey Homeschool Association offers many social activities throughout the year at discounted rates for our members. We have dances for all ages, a prom, holiday activities, and more. We even plan parents’ night outs.
Local Field Trips
SJHA plans multiple fun and engaging field trips through out the year. We also get awesome prices for vacations for our members to attend.
Service Opportunities
Service is important to us. We try to find unique ways to incorporate community service opportunities for our members.
