September Theme: “The Day Everything Changed”
This month, bring your imagination to life by illustrating a moment when everything changed! Whether it’s a magical event, a new discovery, or a surprising twist, show us how your world transforms through your art. You can use any medium—drawings, paintings, digital art, or mixed media—to express your vision of “The Day Everything Changed.”
Every month features a new theme and style to keep your creativity flowing, from abstract designs to realistic portraits, so there’s always something fresh to explore!
📌 How It Works

(Additional age brackets may be created based on the number of submissions.)

Digital uploads of your artwork (photos or scans).

Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF.

💰 Entry & Fundraising Options
- Contest Entry Fee: $5 — qualifies you for prizes and official judging in your age group.
- Fundraiser-Only Option: Submit artwork to be included in our end-of-month art book and raise funds without entering the contest.

Book Sales Fundraiser:

Each artist whose work is included will receive a unique purchase link to share with family and friends.

Artists keep 50% of the profits from sales made through their link.

Remaining funds support the educational goals of local families through SJHC.

Starting in January, SJHC members (including free members) can apply for these funds to support educational resources and activities.

🏆 Prizes

First Place in Each Age Group: Wins 50% of that group’s total entry fees as a cash prize.

Publication Perk: Winning and non-winning artworks (with permission) will appear in the month’s art book.
