September Writing Contest Entry Form

September Theme: “The Day Everything Changed”

Imagine a single moment when your world turned upside down — where something surprising, magical, or unexpected happened that changed everything forever. It could be a fantastical event, like animals suddenly speaking, or a real-life moment, like moving to a new town or making an important decision.

This month’s theme invites you to write a story about “The Day Everything Changed.” Show us how your characters react, how their lives are different afterward, and what they learn along the way. Use your imagination and don’t be afraid to take your story anywhere!

Every month brings a fresh theme and new story type — from mysteries to adventures, to heartfelt memoir-style writing — so you’ll always have something exciting to inspire your creativity.
